Computer Classes at Sarvam Shakti

Camping in summer is an enjoyable experience. In the hustle and bustle of academic life, summer camp shouldn’t be ignored.

Payal and Pammi, our diligent students share the experience of their computer classes conducted in summer camp at Sarvam Shakti center.

The NGO very well understands the importance of computer skills have in the digital age.

With the advancement in technology over the years, we now live in a world that is both enriched and burdened by computers and gadgets. The domination of technology in our everyday lives highlights the importance of digital literacy not just for adults but also for children.

Teacher Vijay Sir is also the driver at the Shakti centre but very proficient at computers. He would have become an engineer had it not been for his life’s own difficulties with the early death of a father and so much family debt etc.

He shares that, girls are adaptive and quick in grasping the knowledge and skills they are provided.

The classes are started by teaching basics to students and later focus on Typing and other important tools like MS Excel, and MS Word, and will later move on to PowerPoint presentation.

Payal says that it is a new and enriching experience for all of them as they can utilize their free time in the best way possible.

She also tells us that different batches are made accordingly so that everyone could get the chance to learn and implement.

Pammi tells us that proficiency and knowledge in these skills will help them to get jobs faster.
