Feministaa ROAR 2019, Bombay

On the 9th of March, the Sarvam Shakti girls participated in Rise of A Rebel 2019 with the support of Feministaa Media Pvt. Ltd. ROAR is the first of its kind full-day event for women entrepreneurs, professionals, and artists curated to launch a community of women all over the world willing to create an impact. Our girls performed a 10 minute set accompanied by a 2 minute short film on self worth. The dancers were primarily from the three disciplines of Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam and Kathak. They were so excited to board the Rajdhani train for the first time and to make it to ‘Shahrukh Khan’s home’ for the first time!

Roar was held at WeWork, Worli. The Shakti staff, Vijay bhaiya, more like the girls’ father, accompanied the girls on his very first trip to Mumbai too!
