International Women’s Day, Cargill India Pvt Ltd

On the 8th of March, the Sarvam Shakti girls were the toast of the town at a special event organized by Cargill Womens Network on the theme of Balance is Better. The Shakti girls received a standing ovation at the end of their hour long contribution of arts! The film of Shakti was screened and the immense talent the girls display was on full showcase. Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak, Garbha, Bhangra, Yoga and an amalgamation of it all in Vande Mataram drove many women to tears. The girls were hugged and applauded plenty. Each girl introduced the piece before the group came to perform and pretty much led the show!

Cargill India Pvt Ltd was so touched by the showcase, that we received a cheque to continue this empowering work!
